Ansan 0-0 Bucheon
Bore draw at the Wa as Ansan's season continues to flounder

Mike Brandon @ Wa Stadium 10th June 2015

There were few highlights as Ansan ended a run of two defeats with a draw that did neither team any favours.

Ansan fielded an unfamiliar side, with top scorer Seo Deeonghyeon not in the squad, and midfield star Jung Hyuk on the bench. Bucheon dominated the game with Brazilian Rodrigo having a field day on the Ansan right flank. Despite their dominance however, chances were few and far between and the Ansan goal was rarely in any danger despite the amount of Bucheon posession in and around the area.

Ansan's attack was typified by poor performances by Kang Seungjo on the left wing, whose repeated errors and poor positioning failed to give Ansan a grip in the Bucheon half, and Jwa Joonhyeob who failed to put any real pressure on the Bucheon back line.

The introduction of Jung Hyuk with twenty minutes remaining inspired some life into the Ansan attack and they ended the match on the frontfoot. They thought they had scored the winner in the 89th minute with a low shot into the bottom left hand corner, but the assisting header was judged to be offside, with the Ansan player heading back away from goal from an offside position following a cross.

Ansan continue to drift further from the play-off places, and with a tricky away trip to Daegu coming up, this match did anything but inspire confidence that Ansan can stop the rot.
